OUR HISTORY
Established in 1985, Gillam & Associates, Inc., is a General Contractor specializing in the construction of large-scale retail developments including big box retail stores, shopping centers and chain supermarkets. Headquartered in Aiken, SC; our company has constructed nearly 30-million square feet of space over a 10 state geographic area in the southeast. Our portfolio includes almost 150 Wal-Mart stores (122 of which are Supercenters), over 80 shopping centers, building supply retailers, a state-of-the-art clubhouse facility, banks, doctor’s offices, drug stores and many other architecturally diverse projects.

The award recognizes Gillam and Associates, Inc. for excellence in safety performance and recognizes our commitment to the safety and health of our employees, clients, and the public. The measure for the award includes our compensation policy loss ratio, workers’ compensation experience modification (EMR), and BLS/DART/OSHA recordable incident rate.
